Happy Humpday! Meet the michelada (bum bum buuuuum).

Better than a Bloody Mary? Yes. Seriously. I mean, obviously nothing is better than beer. Except maybe cheese. Or noodles. Or just carbs in general.

I digress. Bloody Mary gets a royal kick in the ass with hot sauce, lime, and tomato juice. Midweek pick-me-ups will never be the same.

  • 1 lime wedge
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp ground cayenne pepper
  • 2 oz tomato juice
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ tsp Tabasco
  • 1/4 tsp soy sauce
  • 12 oz Mexican lager chilled


  1. Combine salt and cayenne pepper in a small dish; set aside. Run 1 lime wedge around the edge of a tall beer glass; dip rim into salt mixture.
  2. Add remaining ingredients to the glass and stir gently to combine.
